Welfare

Contributions to the community include direct monetary donations for charitable purposes, organising events for charity, or providing practical help where needed. We try to steer financial aid to those approved local charities that find it difficult to raise funds for themselves.

For children, for example, we have provided football kit for a school of 'excluded' children; visual aid screens for the visual impaired; and a sensory room for youngsters with cerebral palsy. For the elderly we give Christmas hampers for those in need; arrange tea parties for those living alone; and provide varied support to Dan-y-Bryn, the Cheshire Home. There are so many ways that ordinary people can help ordinary people. Do join in.
